Stand Up for the Millennium Development Goals
Ever wanted to be part of a world record-breaking event?
Here’s your chance.
This October, Make Poverty History is joining with anti-poverty campaigns around the world to set the Guinness Book of Records attempt for the most people to Stand Up … against poverty.
Grab your friends, families, schools, churches and workmates and stand up for one minute between 8pm on October 15 and 8pm October 16 (EST). In Australia, we need at least 24,000 people to stand.
The challenge is all about the numbers, so we need your support to help set the record. Let’s Stand Up and show world leaders it’s time for
them to take a stand against poverty.
